Tips

1. Avoid Las Ramblas, the main shopping street is full of pickpockets, and scams. Even the restaurants are notorious for over charging your bill.

2. Invest in the T10 card, it is 10 Euros, and buys you ten rides on any of the public transportations, you can also share the same card with another person.

3. Have fun, Barcelona is a beautiful city, filled with fascinating history separate from any other area in Spain. Don’t let others tales of pickpockets deter you from enjoying the city, but stay aware at all times either way.
