Jack Brown's Burger Heaven

Holy shit.

Personally, I don’t think I have to say anything else but you probably want some details on how freaking fantastic this place was.

I don’t know where to start, the service, the decor, the vibe, the massive selection of craft beer, or the world’s most amazing burger? I’ll save the best for last.

We were greeted at the door by the owner, no his name is not Jack Brown, in fact Jack Brown is a completely made up person, but do not let this deter you from eating here because that would be a huge mistake and a pretty dumb reason if you ask me.

Any who, Ian met us at the front door and directed us to a wooden high top that was lighted by an old tin can with bullet holes in it. Whoever decorated this place must have had a lot of fun, license plates, old lockers forming a bar, old signs from all over Nashville, and of course, a half of a car to house the beer taps.

Jack Brown’s has over 100 craft beers, 88 permanent and the rest rotating, seasonal, bottles and taps. It can be a little overwhelming but the staff can direct you to the right beer in no time.

Now, today was dealers choice, they brought us out their most popular and best burgers on the menu.

I’ll ease you in.

The burgers where served on a Martin’s potato roll with 100% Wagyu (domestic Kobe beef) burger that melted in your mouth. I would say it tasted like they buttered the buns but that would be walking right into a “that’s what she said joke,” but I digress.

Don’t lie, you have taken your potato chips and put it on a sandwich at least one time in your life. Well, The Greg Brady brings out the inner child with a burger covered in mac n’ cheese, more cheese, and BBQ potato chips. The mouth-watering burger mixed with the homemade mac is insane and adding the crunch and spice of BBQ potato chips makes this the second best burger I have ever had.

I say second because I would never, ever have ordered The Elvis for myself, however, I won’t make that mistake again. The Elvis is the same perfect burger with bacon, cheese, mayo, and Jiff peanut butter. Yeah, I thought gross too, but something about the sweet peanut butter mixed with salty bacon made me almost order a second one. This was easily, hands-down, the best burger I have ever had, and I have had a lot of cheeseburgers.

The peanut butter melted by the heat of the burger so you weren’t left smacking your gums, it was as smooth as putting ketchup on there. If I have any advice to pass on, it is do not pass up this burger. I mean it.

If that already didn’t sound amazing enough, we finished our meal with two deep-fried Oreos. I don’t feel like I need to go into detail because they are just as fantastic and delicious as they sound.

Nashville gave us a run for our money, so if you need a pick me up after a long night out, this is a great place. Or, if you’re a night owl, Jack Brown’s is open until 2am with live music on the back lawn and corn hole.

I hope what you have learned from reading this is:

  1. Go to Jack Brown’s

  2. Order The Elvis and do not second guess yourself.

  3. Move to Nashville to eat these burgers every day.
