Bach Bash pt. 1

My two best friends and I have known each other since 2006, making our friendship a healthy 5th grader. So naturally, we are rotating made-of-honor around the table. We were thrilled when Sarah got engaged in Ireland. Tyler, her fiancé, treated her like a princess and we knew this wedding was going to be a fairytale.

But, we weren't in charge of the wedding, we were in charge of the bachelorette party...

Don't worry, we kept it PG13, but our weekend in Chicago was filled with brunch, music, dancing, and lots and lots of booze.

After my check in at The Hotel Indigo Gold Coast and my walk about the neighborhood, I jetted over to Lincoln Park (yes we sang all the songs) and set up for all the bridesmaids.

The night was a whirlwind. Dressed in black from head to toe with an all white Sarah in tow, we decked her out with a sash and tiara, and a b-dazzled sash that said "Bride to-be".

We had a gorgeous dinner at the Dawson. High vaulted ceiling, exposed brick, and low lighting, and bacon wrapped dates. Yumm. Naturally, we started with Champagne.. two bottles to be exact.

Drinks started pouring in, craft cocktails and shots all sent from the bar to get Sarah's night going.

This wasn't supposed to be our big crazy night but somehow we ended up at a bar where we were easily the oldest people in there. You know you need to leave a bar when the girl walking in gets a high-five from her friend and says "Man, I didn't think that was going to work!"

After a quick recon we found a dive baron the corner, somehow we went from zero to one hundred real fast, everyone in the bar was handing Sarah shots or drinks, one guy even wanted to buy us an entire bottle!

The rest of the night gets a little fuzzy, but the pictures look like we had a lot of fun!
